Guide to Replacing the Power Supply of a Professional Miner

Note:

1. Disassembling the miner without permission from the after-sales staff will void your warranty (check my warranty). Check after-sales terms to learn more.

2. Ensure that the installation is done correctly before restarting the miner.

3. Incorrect installation may void your warranty.

1.1 Remove the screws located above the fans at the back of the miner.

1.2 Remove the top case.

1.3 Remove the screws at the back of the power supply.

1.4 Remove the cover of the power supply

1.5 Unplug the power cable from the power supply by gently pulling it out.

1.6 Remove the 4 screws on the metal bar.

1.7 Remove the screws on the side of the power supply to detach it from the frame.

1.8 Pull out the power supply.

2.1 There are three types of PSU

(1) The first one:

The first type of PSU can be used in HS5 and CK5.

(2) The second one (which has a fixed voltage regulation line):

Note: when installing the second type, you must plug the little cable in the socket.

The second type of PSU can be used in all professional miners.

(3) The third one

For the third type of power supply unit, the small cable with two different ends is essential for proper operation. If this cable is lost, please contact our after-sales support for assistance. The third type PSU cannot function normally without this cable.

The third type of PSU can be used by all professional miners.

2.2 Place the power supply in the designated position.

2.3 Tighten screws on the side of the power supply.

2.4 Tighten the 4 screws on the metal bar.

2.5 Plug the power cable in.

If your PSU is the second and third type mentioned above, remember to plug the little cable (voltage regulation line) too.

2.6 Cover the power supply. You may need to move it a little forward to fix it.

2.7 Tighten screws at the back of the power supply.

2.8 Carefully install the top board of the miner.

2.9 Tighten screws at the back of the miner. And then the installation is complete!
