Tutorial on Replacing Fan of a BOXⅡ Miner

Note:
1. Disassembling the miner without permission from the after-sales staff will void your warranty (check my warranty). Check Goldshell after-sales terms to learn more.
2. Ensure that the installation is done correctly before restarting the miner.
3. Incorrect installation may void your warranty.

After receiving the new fans, please ensure to check the condition of the fans and row lines to make sure they are in good condition.

1.1 Remove the screw in the center of the miner's hash board

1.2 Remove the screws on the fan surface, pay attention to only remove the outer six screws

1.3 Slowly pull out the hash board and fans. Make sure the position of the bad fans, pls take the following picture for reference. After-sales staff refer to "fan #1, fan #2" or "fan 1, fan 2" as shown below

1.4 Unscrew the defective fan(s)

1.5 Unplug the row lines

Put the new fans into the correct position, then install. You can take the above tutorial for reference. Remember to confirm the airflow direction when installing. TIP: the airflow arrow should point to BOX inside.

Installing the fan in the wrong direction may lead to the miner shutting down at high temperatures, and even causing irreversible damage!

2.1 Please observe the symbol next to the fan. When installing the fan on the metal plate, make sure that the "AIR FLOW" arrow points towards the inside of the miner, as shown. Install the eight screws of the two fans in their respective positions, as shown below.

2.2 Plug the fan connector into the hash board, making sure that the indicator light and the holes on the metal plate align. Refer to Figure 10. Figure 11 shows the completed installation of the fan.

2.3 Install the assembled fan and hash board according to Figure 12, ensuring that the hash board aligns and fits snugly into the groove.

2.4 Install the 6 screws on the fan surface and the 1 screw on the hash board surface. The fan installation is now complete, as shown below.
