uGW800Pro
My miner information is displayed on the front page of the uGapp, but the deployment location is empty. What should I do?
One common issue you may encounter is packet loss when transmitting address information. If your miner's location is empty on the front page of the app, you can click on it and choose "connect". Once connected, you can try sending the location information again to fix the problem.
Why my miner always shows as “Offline”?
If your issue is that the uGAPP displays "offline," explorer.helium.com displays "inactive," and the indicator light is green. Please follow these steps to troubleshoot:
- Check the power port and network connection.
- Consider changing the network.
- Reset the device.
- Go to the Bluetooth function in your phone's settings, delete, ignore, or unpair the connected ugw device, then put the ugw back into Bluetooth pairing mode and attempt to pair again.
- If the device still cannot connect and the indicator light is green, then the device may be malfunctioning and require repair.
What should I do if I set up my miner but the indicator light is always red?
There is a high probability that your miner is facing a hardware issue. Please contact our after-sales team directly for assistance.
I would like to check the miner information, but I'm unable to connect to Bluetooth successfully. How can I solve this problem?
It is highly probable that you have previously connected to your miner with Bluetooth. You can go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and delete/forget the uGW series device. Then go back to the app and reconnect again. This should help solve the issue you are facing.
Is it normal to see alternating yellow and green lights after my miner goes online?
It is normal to see the phenomenon of alternating yellow and green lights occasionally. However, if it happens too frequently, we highly recommend that you improve your internet environment.
The LoRa antenna and GPS antenna cannot be screwed all the way down, is it normal?
The reason why LoRa and GPS antennas cannot be screwed down is because we reserved the length of the thread for future antennas, so it is normal.
How can I upgrade the firmware of the uGW800?
To upgrade the firmware on the uGW800, follow these steps:
- Enter the machine's backend through the IP address.
- Click on the "Gear" button and select "Settings".
Find "System" and locate "Upgrade".
- For upgrading method one, select "Auto". The machine will automatically upgrade. Once you select "Auto", the machine will automatically check the firmware version every 12 hours.
- For upgrading method two, click "Check". If your current firmware version is not up-to-date, the "Check" button will change to "Upgrade". Click "Upgrade" to initiate the upgrade process. If the "Check" button doesn't change, then your firmware version is already up-to-date.
Tips: Clicking "Check" will display the firmware and miner versions. "firmware" and "miner" are different here. If "same" appears behind the "miner: 2023...", it means your firmware is already up-to-date, even though the "latest firmware" is different from the "miner".
